Hi, I'm Molly. I'm a City Hall reporter at the San Antonio Express-News.

I was previously based on the Texas-Mexico border where I was a staff reporter at The (McAllen) Monitor, El Paso Times and El Paso Matters. I covered crime and state courts in McAllen and K-12 education in El Paso.

I was also an assistant editor at El Paso Matters, editing stories on local government, immigration, health and environment.

I'm a two-time finalist for Star Investigative Report of the Year in the Texas Associated Press Managing Editors awards.

I started my journalism career in 2017, after earning master's degrees in Journalism and Global Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Austin.
