Hi, I'm Molly. I'm a City Hall reporter at the San Antonio Express-News, where I've been reporting on local politics since 2023.
I was previously based on the Texas-Mexico border where I was a staff reporter at El Paso Matters, El Paso Times, and The (McAllen) Monitor. I covered crime and state courts in McAllen and K-12 education in El Paso.
I'm a three-time finalist for Star Investigative Report of the Year in the Texas Managing Editors awards.
I started my journalism career in 2017, after earning master's degrees in Journalism and Global Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Austin.
